Dr. Ehren Pace is the owner, chiropractor and massage therapist at Positive Chiropractic and Wellness in Kirkland, WA! He’s passionate about teaching the families in the community the importance of proper nutrition, regular exercise, and proper alignment of the spine and extremities, to show the true power and healing potential our bodies have!
Before coming to Review Wave, he was working with a digital marketing agency that guaranteed him 20 new patients within 60 days, but at a hefty price of $8,000. 😱 Within the first 45 days, Dr. Pace only gained 8 new patients and the agency suggested he cut his free exam offer in half.
They were insistent that was the reason he was not attracting new patients.
Note to self -You should never have to undervalue yourself and your services to attract new patients!
Thankfully, Dr. Pace realized this quickly and left that situation! He had been badly burned and was skeptical at first when he found Review Wave. But once he saw his quick bounce back to success, he knew he found a winner!
One of Dr. Pace’s first actions was to set up reactivation reminders. With one text message, he saw 10 reactivations! Even from patients that hadn’t been engaged in almost 3 years!

In this digital age you might have assumed that texts, emails or perhaps even social media messages had already overtaken phone calls, but in fact, around 80% of businesses still communicate over the phone. Even knowing that text messages have an open rate of 99% and only 52% of phone calls are answered.
If those numbers aren’t shocking enough...

This number should be very alarming to those offices who are spending the majority of their days calling patients. We hate to break it to you, but you’re not very likely to get a call back. Dr. Pace reached out to us a few months ago to share a story about bulk text messaging. Back in March, his practice, unfortunately, had a sewage pipe burst and they had to immediately alert their patients that they would be closed until it was fixed. GOOGLE MY BUSINESS RELEASES A NEW TOOL TO MANAGE REVIEWS
Every business has had a run-in once or twice with a negative review. Or, even a spam review that you’ve requested to take down. But, what happens when you submit a request for a review to be taken down? Doesn’t it feel like your request disappears into the big Google abyss?
Previously, there was no real way to see the status of a review you submitted for takedown. Google My Business’s new tool changes that!
Their newest feature allows businesses to see recent reviews on their listings in a single place and check the status of reviews they reported to Google. You can access the new tool by visiting the Help Center in your Google My Business account.
Once you’re there, here are the steps to submitting a new request or viewing the status of a previously submitted takedown request.
Step One:
Select your business and then select whether you want to check the status of a reported review or if you need to report a new review for takedown.
Step Two:
If you select the option to “report a new review for takedown,” Google will show you a list of all your recent reviews and you can click the review in question and request for it to be taken down.
If you select the option to check the status of your review takedown request, it will show you the current status.
Step Three:
Then, you can select the review and see a summary of the request and the decision. You can even submit an appeal if the review takedown request was not accepted.
Please note that even if you submit an appeal, your takedown request may still be denied. Google receives thousands of requests per day so there is no guarantee they will take down the review, unless it is a very clear violation of their policies.
This new tool is a great addition to help keep track of requests and gives you more insight on why your request was approved or denied. Because we all know how frustrating it is waiting for a reply or waiting for answers! High five, Google!🙌
