How do you get Google Reviews? You improve your customer and patient experiences.
Have you heard of “Google Customer Reviews”. This is Google’s own platform of asking verified customers of E-Commerce stores for feedback.
So, while Yelp’s stance is just say “no” to asking to for reviews, Google’s is apparently the opposite.
Personally, I think that asking verified customers or patients of a business is the best way to get real feedback for other potential customers. That is why we designed Review Wave to ask for reviews just after a service is delivered.
Some people think that having a review gate before asking for the review on major sites like Google, Yelp or Facebook is creating a bias. I think its a chance for the business to make things right for the customer or patient. If the customer or patient isn’t totally happy, I believe that they are given a platform to voice their complaint and have that feedback go to someone that can make it right.
Some people think that using a reputation management company like Review Wave is “cheating” the system, or that companies that do this are “shady”. I disagree, of course. I designed Review Wave as a communication platform that improves customer and patient experience and results. By improving these areas, the business gets a better reputation online. This is the most important online marketing that any business can do.
Our users aren’t paying for reviews. That would be shady. And our users aren’t asking their friends and family (who may have never used their services) for reviews. That would also be shady.
Improve your customer/patient experiences through communication, and then let them tell the world about how great you are! That is marketing today.
